Privacy policy

This document explains how we handle your personal data when you visit this site, message us or book an appointment. It follows Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations, and Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, so it also serves as our privacy notice.

What data we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, phone, email and city.
• Appointment details: date, time, office and the reason for your visit.
• Photos or information about your oral or facial health that you choose to send for an assessment. This is sensitive data: we only process it with your explicit consent and you are not required to provide it.
• Basic technical data logged by the server (such as IP address and browser type) for security.

How we use it

• To answer your messages and to book, confirm, remind you of or reschedule appointments.
• To assess your case and provide the treatment you choose.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping medical records.
• Only with your separate consent: to send you information about treatments, or to show anonymised photos of your case on our social media or this site.

You can refuse these optional uses at any time by writing to us, without affecting your care.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We rely on providers that process it on our behalf, some with servers outside Colombia and Mexico (mainly in the United States and the European Union):

• Hostinger, which hosts this site and our email.
• Cal.com for online booking, and Google Calendar, where appointments are stored.
• WhatsApp and Instagram (Meta), when you contact us there.
• Google Fonts, which serves the site's typefaces.

By using these channels and the booking calendar you authorise this international transfer. We only share data with authorities when the law requires it.

Your rights

At any time you can access, update, correct or ask us to delete your data, withdraw your consent and object to certain uses (in Mexico, the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition). Email contacto@drfelipesalgado.com with your name, your request and a way to reach you. We reply within 10 business days for enquiries and 15 business days for complaints in Colombia, and within 20 business days in Mexico.

If you are not satisfied, you may contact Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce or the competent data protection authority in Mexico.

How long we keep it

Contact and appointment data, for as long as we have a relationship with you and up to two years after your last interaction. Medical records, for the period each country's law requires.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. It only stores your choice about this notice in your browser.

Online booking is provided by Cal.com, which may use its own technical cookies for the booking to work. That is why it only loads if you accept in the cookie notice or press the button to see available times. You can change your choice with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Security

The site always runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to your data is limited to the team members who need it to care for you.

If we change this policy we will publish the new version here with its date. Last updated: 2026-11-03.
